With almost 20 years of experience in the field, Kelly is a skillful and warm clinician who works with teens and adults. She holds a Master in Social Work from the University of Maryland and has undergone multiple specialized trainings in trauma and grief. She utilizes tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), DBT and Internal Family Systems. She also has worked alongside many families as she has helped them clinically navigate major transitions in their lives. She holds a clinical license in Maryland and Washington, D.C. and sees clients virtually.
Kelly specializes in treating anxiety, depression, grief/adjustment and trauma in adolescents and adults. Kelly is a competent clinician that utilizes humor, authentic presence and centers her treatment around client focused goals. Kelly is able to draw from multiple evidence-based techniques to tailor treatment to the individual and/or family. She has also lived around the world with her family, and has spent time developing her own culture sensitivities as she has worked with people from a variety of different backgrounds and life experiences.
Outside of her professional life, Kelly is a mom of three (plus dog), and travel enthusiast, and has personally helped her own family navigate major adjustments. She loves learning and has a strong passion for hosting dinner parties with intentional conversations that deepen her as a human being.
