Our clinicians’ recognize today’s teenagers confront a unique set of pressures that previous generations simply did not. Our Teen Mindfulness Group is an 8-10 week program specifically designed to help high school students (grades 9-12) manage stress, anxiety, and depression. This group teaches teens the practice of mindfulness—paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and without judgment. By building these mindfulness skills, teens can better manage emotions, reduce stress, and improve their overall well-being.
Our program is based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, a proven, evidence-based intervention traditionally used with adults. We’ve adapted it for teens, focusing on strategies that help them cope with life’s challenges while fostering self-compassion and emotional balance.
If your teen is struggling with stress, anxiety, or depression, the Teen Mindfulness Group can provide them with the tools to find balance and build resilience. Reach out to learn more about how this supportive group can empower your teen with mindfulness skills for everyday life.
