Dr. Kramer-Kuhn is a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers, using a cognitive behavioral approach. She holds clinical licenses in Maryland and D.C. and is authorized to practice telepsychology for clients in any PSYPACT participating state/jurisdiction (https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap).
Dr. Kramer-Kuhn earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. She completed her predoctoral internship at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA, where she provided treatment for children hospitalized on an acute inpatient unit, as well as outpatient treatment and assessment for children with a variety of mental health and medical concerns.
Dr. Kramer-Kuhn has extensive experience working with children with histories of maltreatment and other trauma, as well as with children exhibiting developmentally inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviors. She is a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Therapist and is trained to fidelity in the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) and in Problematic Sexual Behavior - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT).
Outside of her work at Alvord, Baker & Associates, Dr. Kramer-Kuhn enjoys being bad at gardening and serving on the working Board of Directors of TRUE Center, a D.C.-based nonprofit focused on increasing access to trauma-informed services for children.
