Lynn F. Bufka, PhD, ABPP (she/her) is a Maryland licensed, PSYPACT certified clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience. She provides a limited amount of clinical services to adults and older teens, primarily through telehealth, with a particular focus on the treatment of panic disorder and general stress. Lynn earned her doctoral degree at Boston University and continued with a postdoctoral position at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders where she received expert training in a range of evidence-based interventions. She is committed to providing focused, appropriate care in a warm environment and relishes using humor to convey information and make connection. Outside of her work at Alvord Baker, she is employed in a full time position utilizing psychological science to address pressing mental health policy issues. When not thinking about mental health and psychology, Lynn can be found with family and friends taking dog walks, playing soccer, baking chocolate desserts, or improving her gardens and making them more pollinator friendly.
