With a decade of experience in clinical social work, Rachel is a grounded, dedicated, and perceptive therapist. She has extensive experience working with clients of all ages. Rachel holds a Master of Social Service (MSW equivalent) from Bryn Mawr College and she is currently pursuing her clinical doctorate at New York University. She has received specialized training in multi-level advanced trauma treatment, Complicated Grief Therapy (CGT), Parent Management Training (PMT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is licensed in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts.
Rachel’s practice is rooted in evidenced-based modalities with compassion and collaboration with clients and families. She is experienced in working with adolescents and young adults with OCD, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and grief and loss.
She excels in building a strong therapeutic relationship and believes this is the foundation of change and personal growth. Rachel approaches sessions with empathy and creativity, helping her clients as they learn to manage difficult emotions, navigate life’s many challenges, and cultivate healthy relationships.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling with her husband and drinking coffee in every place she visits.
