With 25 years of experience, Rebecca specializes in treating children, adolescents and adults. Rebecca received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Maryland Baltimore. Her expertise is in treating anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, OCD, selective mutism, neurodiversity, cognitive rigidity, emotional regulation and learning differences. In addition, Rebecca works with parents to support effective parenting skills and is trained in Supportive Parenting Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). Working as a school social worker in Maryland, Rebecca treated students with a range of learning, behavior and emotional issues. Her knowledge of educational needs, along with individual and family needs enables her comprehensively treat her clients. Rebecca is licensed in Maryland. Using evidenced based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support growth and flexibility. This allows clients to develop health coping skills and expand their comfort areas and relationships. Rebecca uses her knowledge and experience in the therapeutic relationship to build rapport and engagement with her clients. Outside of her work life Rebecca is a mother of two grown children, loves spending time with her dog outside, reading and travelling.
